Stunning Silver Gray Fleece

ATV Silver Elation

Huacaya, Male, Proven, Light Silver Grey, 5/8 Peruvian, 3/8 Chilean
ARI# 31118149 | DOB: 5/5/2007
Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots that is so dense, it feels like a heavy carpet. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs.

When we took him to two shows in 2008, he was put into an indefinite ...

Sold! Congratulations to Jason and Corinne Cain of Aurora Australis Alpacas for their purchase of Anasette!

Anasette is the product of Alpacas of Tualatin Valley's historical grey program. To put this in perspective, this is the farm that produced Mr. Roosevelt and ATV Adonnis, and if you are breed greys, then you know these pivotal herdsires!

Anasette is a grey in disguise, with both her sire and dam being silver grey and a lineage loaded in grey. She has a moderately dense fleece with...

Description

Sentry came to our farm at his dam's side, and we were pleasantly pleased with him. In addition to his calm demeanor and well-grown upright frame, his nicely dense black fleece had a long staple, wonderfully soft handle, and glossy shine. We had registered him for his first show before our vet discovered that he had only one descended testicle. For farms that breed strictly for fiber Sentry could possibly still breed, but for us as a show-breeding farm Sentry unfortunately cannot show or breed. Therefore, we have priced him as a fiber boy at a drastically low price to help make room in our barns.

Sentry is in good health, well grown and fully developed in all other ways. His conformation is good, with a straight frame built by solid bones, for an upright stance and easy movement. As noted before, his fiber is wonderfully soft. With its highly desirable black color, glossy shine, and good staple length -- Sentry's fiber will be an easy sell for any fiber farm! Keep his fiber as an addition to your stash, or sell it to other fiber enthusiasts!

This is an uncommon price for a male of this quality -- even as a fiber male. Grab him fast as we are making room at our farm.

Congratulations to Tammy and Steven Smith!
