Zeus is sired by outstanding true black, 8x Champion, Estates Satin Cloud out of the one and only, Snowmass Satin Reserve XX and Premier's Adriana. Satin Cloud is a well structured, proud male with a very handsome head. He is fine with beautiful curvature, consistent fleece, dense, and bright. His dam, Zesty Zaina is an outstanding female sired by R&R Trojan, our well-known sire that creates magic when bred to dark colors. R&R Trojan comes from Canadian Judge Ruth Elvestad’s dynamic breeding program and he is descended from some of the most illustrious Canadian and Australian bloodlines. Zesty Zaina also carries some of Patagonia's best grey genetics (including Kaspa, and Danko).

Judge Amanda VandenBosch awarded Zeus a 2nd Place ribbon from his first show, the 2019 Carolina Alpaca Celebration - **1st Place and Color Champion was his 1/2 brother Estates Yosemite Cloud. He followed that up with another 2nd place ribbon at the 2019 California Classic Round Up. Zeus brought home a Blue Ribbon and Reserve Color Champion Banner at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering! Zeus won a blue ribbon at the 2020 CABO show. Judge Jill Marcellus comments, "... he’s nicely square and beautifully supports. He’s got excellent substance of bone. Nice presence in the ring. He’s got the, hey look at me kind of attitude. He clearly tops out over anything else in the class for his excellent conformation. When I look to his fleece, he’s showing a very nice level of fineness as are really all the others in the class. It was a quite competitive with one another if you were just looking at the micron level of the fiber, so I was pleased with that. With that fineness you have the uniformity as well, and a nice soft handling fleece. With some character there and some staple definition on that beautiful fine fleece."
