Highland Kinkaid

Here is the latest addition to our herdsire options, and boy, are we excited about this guy. We're pleased to announce that we've partnered with Highland Alpacas and he'll be here in Texas from November to May each year and available to help your dams bring to their crias the confirmation and fineness of fiber you've been striving for.

Phenotypically he is your top-of-the-line light colored herdsire with beautiful crimp, wonderful density and coverage, and great conformation. Genotypically, he is your top-of-the-line dark colored herdsire with black, gray and brown in a background that reads like the Who's Who of alpacas.

With the likes of Black Magic, Nic Nac, Accoyo Augusto, Accoyo Victor, and Hemingway in Kinkaid's ARI, we think he will be able to take the fiber of our brown, black and gray girls several notches up the fineness ladder. Take a chance on Kinkaid, but odds are in your favor on this one to produce an outstanding cria! He has stood with the best of the light yearling and two year old males in the Eastern US....even with his fabulous color-filled background. Just check out his yearling histogram.
