The Spaniard is the first born son of our recently retired standing stud, AGA Moonshine. Spaniard is a Macintosh grandson, with PPeruvian Demetrio as a great-grandfather and Ghengis Khan as a Great-great-grandfather. He is a nice medium brown with black tips.

He has completely correct conformation, as Judge David Barboza recently related at a herd evaluation (5/24/14). Even his last fleece – at almost 10 years of age, had very little guard hair in it and his yearling fleece was “very nice” according to Judge Barboza.

He has dense, bright fleece. Spaniard was shown only, twice and took a 2nd at MOPACA and a 4th at Arkansas in 2006 in Brown Yearling male. Both tough shows back then. He never got a chance to breed as the breeder had removed color from her herd and was only breeding for white. She just adored him too much to let him go. He was bred once before he came to our farm in late 2012 and had a beautiful dark brown female born in October 2013.

We are highly impressed with the copper colored cria born this spring with nice popcorn fleece and are looking forward to more excellent, dense and fine crias in 2016.
